Friday 15/04/2022 – NAPLES – FARA IN SABINA (ABB. DI FARFA) – RIMINI

07.00 am meeting with the participants in the agreed place, accommodation in bus g.t. and departure for Fara in Sabina. Stop along the way to have breakfast consisting of croissant and fruit juice. guided tour of the Abbey of Farfa. It is a Benedictine monastery of Cassino which takes its name from the river of the same name that flows nearby and which gave its name to the village adjacent to the Abbey. One of the details that immediately strikes when observing this religious building, is the quantity of styles depicting the different historical periods linked to its construction, aspects that make this monastery a real architectural jewel . The ‘ interior presents itself in all its solemnity in a triumph of the Baroque in which the large colonnades and the ceilings in which golden flowers are set. The visit continues to the discovery of the monastic places : the Pharmacy , the Longobard Cloister , the Large Cloister , the refectory and the precious library that collects the cultural heritage of the monastic tradition . Packed lunch to be paid by the participants. At the end departure for Rimini with arrival at the hotel in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Saturday 16/04/2022 – RIMINI – SALINA CERVIA – FAENZA – RIMINI

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Cervia . Guided walk in the Oasi della Salina di Cervia a unique environment from the of naturalistic view and for the landscape it offers. The salt pan is the smallest and the most northerly in Italy, which has always been a natural reserve for populating and nesting for many species of animals and plants. It is here that “SWEET SALT OF CERVIA” is formed and collected in an artisanal way just as it once did. Every year from the beginning of August, the rite of cavadura takes place for about forty days. In this period, birds can be observed hatching, courtship, childcare and nest defense techniques. Continuation of the visit to the Butterfly House opens every spring with its greenhouse populated by hundreds of colorful butterflies. The serene atmosphere has always enchanted people of all ages, offering an educational experience for the most curious guests thanks to the outdoor botanical path and the adjacent pavilion set up with bizarre insect terrariums from all over the world.  Lunch in a restaurant in the heart of the Salina with typical dishes and products with sweet salt from Cervia. In the afternoon departure for Faenza, guided tour of the International Museum of Ceramics of international importance </ strong>, which presents the ceramic production of Faenza, of all the Italian regions and of numerous countries, in the two large ancient and modern collections. Continuation of the guided tour of the city full of palaces and arcades, the most characteristic part is concentrated in the two main and contiguous squares. Piazza del Popolo , houses the Palazzo del Podestà , the Town Hall , both of medieval origin. Piazza della Libertà which houses the splendid Cathedral and the Clock Tower . Return to the hotel in time useful for dinner and overnight stay.

Sunday 17/04/2022 – RIMINI – ITALY THEME PARK IN MINIATURE

Breakfast at the hotel and guided tour of Rimini city myth of summer fun and scenography of Fellini’s films. Interesting to see the Maletestian Temple , the Arch of Augustus built in 27 BC. in honor of Caesar Octavian Augustus is the oldest surviving Roman arches and stands at the point of arrival of the Via Flaminia that connected Rome to Rimini, the Tiberius Bridge, the Borgo S. Giuliano made famous by the figure of Fellini in whose streets you can find that typical atmosphere told by the director. At the end there is the possibility to participate in the Easter Holy Mass in the cathedral of Rimini commonly known as “Malatesta temple ” dedicated to St. Francis. Return to the hotel for the Easter lunch . In the afternoon free time to relax or optional excursion to the theme park Italy in miniature which houses over 270 scale reproductions of Italian monuments, churches, palaces. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Monday 18/04/2022 – RIMINI – GOLA DEL FURLO – NAPLES

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the Gola del Furlo . Short stop for a walk along the river to admire the wonderful canyon created by the incessant flow of water. The Gola del Furlo is located along the ancient and original route of the Via Flaminia in the stretch where it runs along the Candigliano river , between the Municipalities of Fermignano and Acqualagna in the province of Pesaro-Urbino . The Etruscans were the first to cross the Gola del Furlo, then it was the turn of the Romans who built the ancient Via Flaminia , as well as a large gallery which was built < strong> by the emperor Vespasian between 76 and 77 AD. Special farewell lunch, typical Umbrian restaurant .

In the early afternoon departure for Naples with expected arrival in the evening.
